I've update the post with links to two screenshots which sum up the two key benefits of the plugin:

<ol>
<li>Being able to see a list of comments which need a reply.</li>
<li>Being able to reply to comments from the admin interface.</li>
</ol>

There are many other features, but to me these are key as they instantly revealed that I'd been failing to respond to a number of comments that clearly warrented a response.

This reminded me of your post, Top 10 Reasons Why You Must Comment on Blogs. Which I will now follow up with a post on why bloggers should respond to comments.
